I want to make stir fry tonight but I don't have any soy sauce, what else can I use?

And should I use rice or noodles? Would regular ole spaghetti noodles work?

  • Do you have any terriyaki sauce? I have used that from time to time. The thin spag noodles work great!

  • You can try with Worcestershire sauce. And yes, regular noodles will work :) I can never find oriental noodles in my grocery store, I use regular spaghetti.

  • I like the Ramen noodles idea! I hadn't thought of that.

Hubby and MIL can't have soy sauce b/c of the salt content and I hate it, so I use Balsamic vinegar, Italian dressing or whatever happens to tickle my fancy at the time.

  • I agree...Im not keen on Ramen noodles sauce......I only use a few sprinkles of it in my noodles.....but the noodles work great in a pinch and you can usually get 10 for over a $1.25 !
