WYR Go deaf or go blind?

I can't imagine having either happen. To choose. Between never seeing my children smile, or never hearingtheir laughs again.

  • having a grandmother that was deaf, i think it is alot more easier . you can still communicate easily. but being blind, having to learn everything without sight, would be one of the worse things I think..

  • I already have been to the point of not hearing all that I should due to hearing loss. I had surgery to help and it has. I hear better now then before. Its not perfect but I'm not complaining. I'd could deal with being deaf. Blind would be harder but I'd cope if I had to.

  • This is a hard one because to be deaf means I can't listen to music, but to be blind means I can't see the wonders of nature or take pictures. I guess I'd have to say deaf.
