  • South Beach is a good, healthy diet. My mom's cardiologist even recommended it to her. She has been on it for two and a half weeks and has lost 13 lbs. - she also walks at least a mile every day.

  • Eat Sensible, healthy, well balanced meals. Cut out soda completely and other caffinated drinks if possible. Don't eat up to two hours before going to bed. Do cardio 20-30 minutes a day to lose the weight and Pilates and/or Yoga to tone and strengthen.

  • Cut soda, juice and drink water or crystal light only. Drink a ton of water. Don't drink while you eat or you'll eat more. Exercise 30 min a day.

  • It is clinically proven if you lose more than two lbs a week it will come back. The best success are individuals that make life changes and incorporate a good diet and exercise. It is important for both cardio and strength training. With cardio you want at least 30 mintues, 30 mintues is the proven minimum you need for burning fat, and at least 3 days a week of strength training. Squats, pushups you can do them from home if need be. Building muscle helps so much because you will be burning more calories at rest! As for diet, watch your sodium and sugar intake! Drinking a lot of water helps with bloating. Some great meals would be... Fish three times a week with large helping of veggie, broccoli, asparagus, green beans, califlower, and a salad. A small helping of brown rice and wheat pasta, small sweet potato is also yummy and good. The white starchs are what you should limit or stay away from all together. cont.
