2 Bumps

I understand why babies/toddlers fight naps ....

but can someone please explain to me why a reasonable & rational older child does? ... my son after his afterschool nap once he's clear headed often thanks me for making him take one. But I have to fight him like crazy.

  • Same reason. They don't want to miss anything fun, whether its playing or not.
