Calling Any School Teacher

If I were to make an activity book for say 5-8 yr olds, what kind of activities would you suggest be in it?

  • Things that make them use their brain but are still fun!!
    Find the hidden picture
    Using clues to figure out the answers
    Anything that involves math-shapes, color by addition or subtraction, ordinals
    Letter sounds- rhyming, beginning sounds
    Choose your own adventure, story endings
    It all really depends on the childs ability level

  • How about an empty notebook to be their journal?
    They can draw pictures in it, etc.

  • mazes, conect the dots, mazaic, jokes, riddles, coloring pages the posiblities are really endless.

  • Former K-6 teacher. You need more than one book. The skills of a 5 year old are very different than those of an 8 year old. Go to the store and look through activity books that are there and pick the items you think will work best in your books.

  • My kids have some that are like coloring books but they give the kids suggestions on what to draw on each page. Some pages have the picture already started and the kids finish it.
