  • Yes, those little chairs are so uncomfortable to sit in.

Actually I was uncomfortable last year. The teacher was very standoffish and a little rude and I was nervous because my daughter had been labeled as a trouble maker for talking too much early in the school year. I feel a lot more comfortable around this year's teacher and I chat with her often. The teacher she had the year before last is the same one she has this year and the teacher often asks me if my daughter ever talks at home because she is so good and so quiet at school.

  • Kind of because I'm new at it.

  • Not at all. I am in contact with the teachers through email all the time, so it's like finally meeting a friend and the conference goes really fast.

  • No. I am very involved at the school, so I know the teachers. I also really appreciate the time to have a one-on-one talk with my children's teachers.
