2 Bumps

my 13 month old leaned back and hit the back of her head on the coner of the window sill and has a small bump, should i worry? She cryed for a bit but then she was fine. I don't know if i should take her to see the doctor.

  • If it makes you feel better, then take her. my opinion is if she didn't pass out, and she stopped crying ,,, then i would think shes fine...

  • usually if they hit their heads and a bump comes out they're fine. Its when there is no bump or it caves it that you really have to worry. I would just watch her for the night/day if shes acting dizzy, faint, or strange then take her.

  • this is the first of many bumps you will see from your child and more to come just keep a eye on it for couple of days if get worse then see your doctor but if nothing comes of it don't worry to much about it your child shook it off .

  • As long as shes not throwing up, and her pupils are the same size shes ok, if she starts throwing up get to Er fast.

  • ice it really.... i'm not a perinod parent... kids will be kids and it's going to happen offten but you have to pick and chose the doctors... the bump will go down and you'll be fine but if she didn't make into big deal then you shouldn't either.
