Who's ready for Halloween?

Yep, two weeks away and I just finished preparing the treat bags. No candy. Instead (almost) every bag has a mini fruit rollup (5g of sugar, so not bad), mini bag of pretzels, either a pencil or a slap bracelet (ran out of pencils/bracelets before I ran out of bags, put an extra fruit rollup in them instead) plus tattoos and a little trinket (all Halloween themed of course).

What are you handing out? Do you do treat bags or just mix them up in a bowl? I chose treat bags because I didn't want to get stuck with a lot of stuff afterwards. Thought (hoped) this might be the best way to prevent that.

  • We live out in the country so we don't get trick or treaters anymore. We used to hand out candy when we lived in places where we had trick or treaters tho. But DH still makes me buy Halloween candy for him LOL. Your goody bags sound really nice, great idea.

  • I've always mixed up candy in a bowl. :)

  • It's only going to be our nephews stopping by here because we live so far back in the country. So, I'm going to give them homemade fudge :)
