Do you think the use of medical marijuana should be legalized in all 50 states?

I live in Colorado, and medical marijuana is legal here. I'm still not sure how I feel about that, but then again I haven't done much research on the changes that happened to the state's budget, crime rate, etc.

  • Yes, it's more beneficial and effective than many pain medications out on the market legally. My mom's favorite cocktail used to be a shot of demerol with visterol- she'd be spaced for hours, high as a kite and abusive as hell, then when she'd come down she'd hit another er for another shot. So legal, and so crazy with side effects.

Medical MJ can't be any worse than that.

  • There is absolutely no reason to prevent people with terminal illness the relief that marijuana provides, and interestingly enough all it would take is a pen stroke from the Attorney General to reschedule Marijuana from a CI to a CII.

  • Medical marijuana isn't the same as marijuana for people who just want to party. They're in pain, I doubt they're running around stealing.

  • I think it should be up to each state..so sure if the state wants it legalized for medical purposes in their state..so be it.

I am ok with it being legal for medical reasons

  • I feel that marijuana should be legalized, taxed, and regulated across the board.

Medical usage, personal recreation usage, and Industrial Hemp growth/culitvation (instead of importing the hemp that is used to make hemp products here.. we have a few hemp product companies here in Oregon, and they have to import their hemp)

    All usage.. legalized, taxed regulated.
