Sanitizer vs antibacterial

This bothers me ...How people are confused about the difference b/w alcohol sanitizer and antibacterial products. Funny thing is you might have it in products, like your deodorant, and not even know it. It goes under the name "Triclosan."

Alcohol based sanitizer is not horrible if you use it in appropriate situations. Obviously handwashing is best and exposure to some germs is good for you.

  • I stopped buying antibacterial products since my doctor told me that using them gets rid of the good bacteria too. I use soap and water to wash my hands whenever possible but do carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works for times I can't wash my hands. I have horrible allergies and sneeze a lot, so I use the sanitizer after I sneeze.
