This bothers me ...How people are confused about the difference b/w alcohol sanitizer and antibacterial products. Funny thing is you might have it in products, like your deodorant, and not even know it. It goes under the name "Triclosan."
Alcohol based sanitizer is not horrible if you use it in appropriate situations. Obviously handwashing is best and exposure to some germs is good for you.
Can antibacterial soaps/products create ‘superbugs’ ?
Yes. Antibacterial agents… potentially leave the resistant bacteria to survive and multiply and may promote the development of resistant genes, commonly referred to as ‘superbugs’
