ITCHY!!!!!!

I don't know how to say this, but for the past week my lower lips have been EXTREMELY itchy! They are really red on the inside, especially around my clit - no bumps or sores or scrapes. I bought anti-itch wipes from EVE and A+D ointment - but no change. However, the irritation only happens in the late evening (it doesn't bother me during the day). I don't have any STD's and am currently 35 weeks prego...I don't have any problems around my vaginal opening nor do I have any leakage... plus have not had sex in months.....any opionions?!! help!

  • I had that problem with my first pregnancy and it was just due to increased blood flow to the area. You should really rule out a yeast infection first, though

  • yeah, sounds like a yeast infection! OTC treatments are normally safe to use during pregnancy but I'd still talk to the dr. first. I had 3 yeast infections during my pregnancy...they can be pretty common, but they SUCK!

  • I had that problem but with my hands and feet. doctor said it was a sign of preeclapcia. Id all just to ask what they think I had to do a 24 hour urine test to check protines. Just call your ob/gyn they can tell you more then what we can
