  • I think that would depend on what you want to write.
You could start with a simple blog.

  • I agree with the first person...pick up a pen and some paper and start writing.

If you want something month is NaNoWriMo.  National Novel Writing Month.  It's a contest to write a 50k word novel in 30 days.  It's a lot of fun.  The book doesn't have to be just get it all out.  It's quite therapudic for writers.

  • i dont know exactly. i have a few ideas,..i think writing a horror novel would be lots of fun. then agian i also think writingkinda like a woman(in her 20's) in the 60's generation.

  • Just start writing.
Jot down your thoughts, feelings, an outline of a story idea you have.

Start with a sentence, and go from there.
I have over a dozen outlines of different stories saved, ready to explore.

Don't be surprised, though, if once you start, the story takes over, and
goes in directions you never dreamed. They do have a mind of their own, lol.

Most of all, have fun! Writing should bring you joy.

  • I like to write, but I write poetry which consists of my feelings mostly-for me writing about your feelings and emotions is easy-thinking of a story plot might be down the road-just not there yet.
