I know this topic probably causes a lot of controversy, but I'm really at a loss after what they doctor told me yesterday. I refused to sign the "refusal to vaccinate" paperwork at my daughter's 6 month appointment. I signed it at her 2 month and didn't like the way it was worded. I had since read that I wasn't required to sign it, so I didn't want to. The doctor came in the room and told me that she couldn't do a check-up unless I signed the paper, so I said, "Ok, that's fine, we'll leave." As I was dressing my daughter, she stood in the door-way and said "I consider not vaccinating your child child abuse." Can there be any reprecussions for her saying this to me? I know not everyone agrees with me not vaxing, but I don't think that my choice not to is abusive to my child and I think she shouldn't be allowed to tell a parent that being that she's a doctor! Is there anything I can do? Thanks for any opinions!

This is how I feel,,,,If you do not vaccinate your child and your child gets one of those illnesses..Your child is not the only one who has to deal with that illness..Your child will give it to other children,,,Then there will be an epidemic on or hands..
