My son drools a lot (he's 3) - any answers?

The drool drips from his lower lip and his t-shirts get wet through sometimes

  • Does he has his last set of molars yet? My son is having the same problem and is 2.5 years old and it is because he is cutting his last set of primary molars.

  • I suspect it is due to teeth coming the PP stated, it's likely molars. Feel his gums (gently!) with your finger...if they're bumpy, there's teeth on the way in, and that causes drooling. Nothing to worry about. A bib can help keep his chest dry so he doesn't get a rash.
