  • Cereal, nuts, vegetables, legumes, breads are some that have a lot of fiber to them. We like cereals because they taste good. Even many of the children's cereals are showing up with more fiber than before.

  • Beans!!! Of any kind. There are recipies online that you can experiement with to make it easier for the picky ones to eat ;) Go to a farmers market and talk to them there, you'll get more information about fiber than you probably ever knew. Stick to the naturally grown foods and if you can, stay as far away from the processed foods as possible. Nature gives EVERYTHING a body can ask for ;)

  • air popped popcorn has lots of fiber too. DD & I love it (no butter)

  • whole grains
    non-starchy vegetables
    most fruits

  • Whole grain bread, broccoli, beans, apples, (with skin) peas, potatoes, raisins, etc. Basically WHOLE foods.

  • avocados, black beans, broccoli, bran cereal, peas, kale, kidney beans, raspberries, soybeans, brown rice, almonds,cabbage, blueberries, olives, papaya, pistachios, prunes
