  • Every other year we have a big birthday party for one of my girls, they are 11, and12. The big year we go do what they want and invite lots of people. My 12 year old just had a birthday and wanted to go to Champ's Roller Dome. I paid 125.00 for 15 kids to skate and have shoes, they provided the silverware and drinks and pary room. I had that many children attend and they had a blast. Now next year will be her little year and we will just do something with a few friends at home.

  • I just had my son's 5th birthday party at Mcdonalds and for $67 I fed 10 kids, got cake and ice cream drinks, prizes and they played 3 games with an employee the mess stayed behind and everyone had a blast! now I would have paid way more then that if I had the party at my house

  • My dd is only 4, but each year we've had it at a park, a play place, a bowling ally (she loves to bowl lol), etc. We live in a small house, that would be TOO crowded with b-day guests! When I was younger we had a lot of my parties at home though.

  • We had the parties at home until thay were in elementary school. Then we did things like Pizza places where they could make their own pizza, etc.

  • We took our youngest to Chuck E Cheese the last time... Until then we didn't really do anything for birthdays... Just a small cake and a few gifts.

  • we have parties at home, that way the kids can run around outside and not have to worry about disturbing others who may not want to listen to a bunch of kids while eating.
