  • don't. you cant force your body into labor until it's ready. Thats why even pitocin only works 50% of the time (the other 50% end in C-section)
Its dangerous and irresponsible. Your baby will come when he/she is ready.

  • ugh. you have AT LEAST 4 weeks to go. These last weeks are so important for the babies development. Why would you want to evict him early??!?

  • Why would you want to? Do you know the possibilities of a child born even days early having digestive or developmental issues? Why would you want your child to be in pain simply because you are tired of being pregnant?

When they are ready they are ready!

  • Funny, DD joined her last year.. Tried all the tricks.. And this was her 3rd Baby! This has to be the most popular question. Seriously nothing works. It may seem like it does. Patience and letting mother Nature bring you that Beautiful Baby when the time is Right! Best of Luck! 'Can't wait to hear when that Baby is here! Good Luck!!

  • Money is just money. Your babies health is WAY more important than money, and being 7lbs has NOTHING to do with how developed his brain, heart, lungs, and digestive system are. If you were to have him NOW he would spend the last weeks in the NICU which is WAY WAY more expensive than just giving birth when the baby is ready. Did you not think of that/???

  • 7 lbs according to an ultrasound is a general estimate. My aunt is an OB and that can be off up to 4 lbs. So while you're thinking he is 7 lbs, he could be only 3lbs.

Don't risk your luck. Trying to induce yourself this early is not a smart idea. Basing your childs health on not having insurance or not isn't good either, because then you're likely to end up with a child taken to the NICU with even more severe problems.
