  • honestly I prefer canned!!! my DH makes his own that takes like 10 hours. I love him and his efforts but I grew up on the canned so my brain appreciates it more I guess

  • box mix, Carol Shelbys's. add your own ground beef, beans if you want, and a can of tomato sauce. seasonings come in the pkg. ready in 30 min

  • I have never had it from a can. My husband used to only eat the canned crap (it looked like dog food ewww) but after he tasted my homemade he never ate it again. I like to make mine with a combo of beef and venison and at least 4 types of beans..and my secret is a dash of cinnamon.
