  • Mc Cain is against abortion and Obama feels only use abortion if you have been raped or an ill situation.  Hoope this helps.

  • Check it out on their own websites.

  • Actually, Obama doesn't say any "only" about abortion ... I went to their respective websites to see: on Obama's site, under the heading of Women, abortion was way down the list. It was 2 or 3 sentences saying Obama supported reproductive rights. McCain's site had it under Human Dignity and the Sanctity of Life. It said that the court case of Roe vs. Wade was an unconstitutional decision and McCain wants to see the right given back to individual states for their citizens to vote on. He wanted to see pregnant and new mothers respected by the government for what they are doing and given help. And the site talked about strengthening the adoption choice. So, McCain wants to have fewer abortions, and Obama supports the status quo.

  • Obama respects a woman's right to choose. Mccain thinks the government should tell a woman what she can and can't do with her body.

  • McCain supports the human right of the growing baby inside of the woman.
Obama views it as the right of the mother and is willing to allow taking the baby at any time.

However, nothing will happen to Roe V Wade.

  • Obama said he would sign the Freedom of Choice Act that would strike down ALL States' abortion laws and make it legal throughout ALL nine months or pregnancy. He said this to a gathering of Planned Parenthood back in 2007.

  • obama does not want to take away reproductive rights, mccain would make it illegal to get an operation (the kind we are talking about) even TO SAVE THE LIFE OF THE MOTHER that is right even if you were going to die from it .. he would make it illegal for them to save you..... he is a womanizer and it doesnt suprise me to hear his position finally come out (last debate he said it)
