My dog sometimes rubs his but on the floor, does this mean he has worms or does his but just itch, is there a sack back there that bothers him?

  • Hm... I would go to a vet just in case. But if it's nothing, it must be itching. :)

  • It could either be worms or the anal glands needing expressed. Please take him to the vet. Anal glands can rupture if they become too impacted! Eww!

  • It mostly likely means he has anal gland issues . Like the other poster said if they don't get emtied they can get infected and rupture. That is very painful.
