  • Electric. I refuse to use a gas stove. Electricity is cheaper than gas.

  • Gas, we had an electric one in the past and I loved the oven, but hated the cook top.

  • Gas, but i don't mind electric. We just moved into a house with an electric stove & at first i burned EVERYTHING! I was not used to it. But, i have gotten used to it & it has advantages. I noticed i can boil water MUCH quicker on an electric stove. I really thought that a gas burner would heat water quicker, but i guess i was wrong. I also feel that my oven temps are more even. Now that i know how to use it well, i feel as if the things i bake, cook better. I think the heat is more evened out in the oven.

  • Gas, my husband even ran gas into our old kitchen for me so that I could have a gas stove.

  • I like gas, but electric is okay too. Just depends on what type. I don't like the old coil electric ranges. But the smooth surface electric ranges are nice.

  • I prefer a gas stove, but since we are renting right now and the house is total electric, I am kinda stuck for now.

  • Gas. It tooks more evenly, it heats things up quicker, and it cooks nicer.

  • Electric! I grew up using a gas stove - I wasn't fond of it. When we moved into our current house it came with an electric stove - I got used to it. When the stove went out, we found out we have both gas & electric hookups. I chose to stick with electric because I really prefer it!
