  • Could be. Why don't you call your doc?

  • Sounds very probable, I would call your doctor and ask what they want you to do.

  • Could be. Are they coming and going? Are the becoming more regular and stronger?

  • the contractions started yesterday and have gotten worse, not very timeable. dont wanna go to L&d for nothing since im home alone with 18mdd and dont hae a sitter unless emergency, just keep having to poop and feel horrible, when does water normally break?

  • Wait until they become timeable and unbearable. Your water never has to break, baby can be born in the caul.

  • The only way to know for sure if it is the real thing or not is if your contractions continue and get progressively more frequent and more intense. Give your OB or midwife a call and find out when they want you to call them or go in. It is usually when contractions have been 5 minutes apart for at least an hour. Hang in there mama. It won't be much longer in the grand scheme of things before you are holding your baby in your arms.
