"Nightime" Diapers - Are they worth it? Do do really work?

My DD is a tummy sleeper and 3 out of 7 nights she will pee out of her diaper and soak her PJ's and her bedding. Should I try the nightime diapers? any suggestions?

  • I still can't figure out the difference in a night time diaper but we didn't really have many problems with regular diapers at night so if you do then I guess it's worth a shot.

  • We tried the nightime Pampers and they didn't make a difference.. Now we use one size bigger in his regular diapers and that works great!

  • Have you tried lowering her liquid intake in the evenings? That made a HUGE difference for us. Our son is a tummy sleeper, too, and he used to soak through diapers most nights. Then we cut off fluids (for the most part) around 6PM, and it stopped almost immediately.

  • I think it depends on the child, our first boy 3yrs now, never ever pottied at night, not even as a infant, hes never had a wet bed or a wet diaper come morning. So we didnt bother with night diapers at all. Our second boy is full as can be come morning, we will go with night time diapers at night, less of a mess in his crib and his pajamas arent wet come morning.

  • I had this same problem. Eventually he grew out of it but I did find a cheap fix! They sell diaper inserts at babies R us. They have no chemicals its kinda looks like a maxi pad with will soak through with out a plastic back. They were about $3 for a pack of I think 30. I can't remember the name but they were by the cloth diapers in the same isle as the boxed diapers.Hope this helps.

  • My son has always done the same thing. The huggies overnight diapers made a huge difference and saved me some extra loads of laundry.
