Do you and your husband/SO have date night?

I think that planning a date night does wonders for your marriage/relationship. We gat so busy with the kids and work that sometimes we overlook one another. Getting out for a few hours with out the kids is great.

  • we have a wonderful routine that we both love... even though we are both were very nonroutine people. we have a couple shows we watch together. we play games (dominos, scrabble) many evenings. our weekends we always make a point to get out and go somewhere... hubby usually thinks of something... even if just to drive for a while. we don't drink and there's not much inexpensive to do in the area (lack of nature), but we do enjoy our time together. we've also been doing house projects together, and looking at dream houses (in the mountains of SE US).

  • We do once in a blue moon. We have an extremely hard time getting a babysitter. Plus we have very different schedules and don't get time to spend with one another. It really sucks!

  • We do. My SO is VERY routine, so he does his things on Mon (watch football) Wed (plays basketball) and Thurs (hang out at barber shop). Friday night is usually our night to do something, just us. And sometimes Saturday too. We don't live together but see each other at least 2 or 3 times/wk. It all balances out!

  • We have a date night every Friday night. It's usually just going out to dinner, catching a movie or shopping together. We kind of lucked into it though. My husbands parents enjoy having our dd on friday nights. They say in their old age it gives them something to look forward to. I think it's a good thing to have a date night. Even if you don't do much but have picnic together.

  • I WISH!!!! No we just get about 15 min alone maybe 2 times a month for the intimate stuff! I have tried to get him to but he doesn't want to leave our daughter with anyone. So, when we go out I have to see to her and scarf my food down like a starving lion! lol I think it would do wonders for our marriage...but he doesn't seem to care....
