  • I love sandwiches! The kiddos will also eat them unassembled. My hubby is the picky one and only really cares for pepperoni or meatball subs

  • I do it a lot, actually. My husband works third shift and if he's going to be asleep for dinner we'll eat a big lunch together and our 3 year old and I will have a simple dinner of sandwiches or something else easy and quick. Like today, we had a big lunch cause DH is off and he'll sleep until 10 probably, so for dinner I'm going to have roast beef and bbq chips and the kid is going to have peanut butter and applesauce and an oatmeal raisin cookie. :)

  • Yes and it what they want. Usually the kids want P&J ones. Serve with veggies and/or fruit

  • Yes...mostly in the Summertime though.

  • Yup, sometimes I just do a day where we have whatever sandwich we are in the mood for and a salad or soup. I will also make grilled cheese sometimes. Or grilled peanut butter. Or grilled turkey and cheese. Or philly cheese steaks I guess you can consider a sandwich.

  • It's not a planned meal, but if we don't feel like cooking anything, then it's anything goes ('nuke at will') and that might include a sandwich, or whatever. For my son, peanut butter & jelly. Me, whatever deli meat is on hand.

I was so happy when my son ate Subway last week. He's never been interested in deli meat before and he chowed down on his kid sized turkey & cheese sandwich.
