  • My 6 year old DS is responsible for picking up toys, cleaning up after himself, keeping books put away, unloading clean silverware/plasticware, and clearing the table of his own dishes. He helps his older brother throw away trash if its light enough for him to carry, and brings the upstairs trash downstairs to be thrown away.

  • My 5 year old daughter has some things she helps do around the house. She helps feed the cats, feed the dog, lets the dog in and out, makes her bed, cleans up her toys, she clears her plate after eating, and if she home when I do laundry she'll take the clothes from her hamper and put them in the laundry basket. She will sometimes help do other things around the house if need be.
