  • check to see if her gums are swollen and if they are then yes do the oral gel to help with the pain.

  • 1st diarrhea and fever arent symtoms of teething. 2nd orajel hardens the gums and makes it hard for the teeth to get through. 3rd she may be teething but tylenol isnt neccesary, a lot of kids can teeth for several months!

  • I have 4 children and none of them got fevers of diarrhea from teething. We only knew they were because their gums got red and they started drooling really bad. Other than that, no other problems.

  • None of my 3 kids got fevers or diarrhea when teething. Wrap a cold damp washcloth around your finger for her to chew on. I would not give oragel or tylenol. It can take months for the teeth to come through once they start teething.

  • Diarrhea isn't a symptom of teething at all.

  • Fever and diarrhea are not teething symptoms. Go ahead and try the orajel, but don't give it to her more than the package insert says (4x a day, I think). You can also try teething tablets. Even a cold washcloth, frozen teething ring, or something can help. If these things help it's teething. If they don't then you have something else going on.

  • Diarrehea isnt necessary. DS was 3 months when he started showing signs, but like 5 months before we saw a tooth. I prefer Hylands Teething tablets to oragel.
