How many hours of sleep do you get/night on average?

I've been getting about 4-5 since we have a newborn, & hubby gets up at 4am to go to work during the week, so he can't help much with the late night/early morning stuff. I take a nap once in awhile, but maybe a 1/2 hour if I'm lucky, since we have a 6 year old too.

  • i usually get about 7 so i guess I am lucky. Still not enough for me. I am a 9-10 hour a night kinda girl but it really doesn't work well with working and a baby.

  • It varies so much! Some times I don't sleep at all, now that I'm back in college. Most nights, I sleep between 3.5 and 7 hours.

  • In between work, school, my 2 yr old and my husband being deployed I get maybe 3-5 hours of sleep a night. Sometimes less.

  • I only have one child. I sleep when she sleeps and it helps me to get my energy and relax. I put my daughter down at 11:30pm because she LOVES watching the Channel 5 News lol.

  • I aim for 9 hours. Sometimes I get as much as 10, or as little as 7 (which leaves me EXHAUSTED!). My little guy wakes 2-3 times a night currently (but it's been as often as 4-5+ when teething, etc...)

  • Probably 4-6 1/2 on school nights and up to 7 1/2 otherwise. This has been for the last 9+ years, so I'm working on a deficit. lol

  • We cosleep and DD serves herself breast milk a few times a night. She goes down around 10pm and gets up around 8:30am. I don't really wake fully to feed her. I change her once or twice. If I go to bed when she does, I get plenty of sleep.but I usually stay up reading or do house work.
