How do I thicken up my homemade liquid soap

I have been trying to make my own liquid handsoap without much luck. It is so messy and watery. Plus it doesn't last at all. I have been using the liquid castille soap mixed with water, glycerin, coconut oil, tea tree oil and lemon. So how do I thicken it up.

  • Hard to say on that one because it sounds like all of the ingredients are liquid. For sops to thicken, they usually use cornstartch. Maybe try that or baking soda, which will still be a all natural cleaning agent, though it may turn into foam soap lol.
