  • I haven't heard of it, but I don't think I'll get my 11 year old son to wear pink. If he wants to thats great but I don't see it happening.

  • Hmm....I thought it was purple. I got an invite on FB to wear purple on the 20th the other day. Maybe it's for something else, but I thought it was for bullying. I guess I better look that up before tomorrow, but yes I was planning to wear it.

  • I'm so sick of this anti bullying campaign. Every time kids have a normal disargreement they scream bully because of all the campaigning, which seems pretty alienating to a child. How about we just teach our children to treat others how they would like to be treated, and campaign to instill good morals in our children instead? So no, I'm not going to do a pink, I thought that was breast cancer anyway.

  • I just looked it is for breast cancer awareness and national bullying prevention day. There is also purple pride against bullying for anti-LGBT bullying. Both are on Oct. 20th.

  • i'm with you music!
    let's promote the golden rule!

maybe the pink thing is a local thing here...a boy got bullied for wearing a pink shirt, and to support him the school got together and all wore pink shirts.

  • No, it wasn't mentioned at my kids' schools. They wear uniforms.
