how can i get my breastfed baby to take solids??

  • Just offer them. Leave them on the tray of the high chair and let her play withthem.. DON"T PUSH. You don't want this to be a battle.

  • Put some chunks of avocado or baked sweet potato on the high chair tray in front of her and let her decide to pick it up and chew on it. She may not take to it until a few months from now. As long as she is nursing, she will be fine.

  • Let her try any soft food, in small pieces, that you are eating.
