clapping....spinning too

Gianna claps her hands often, Just recently if i start to clap she will grab both of my pointer fingers to make me clap, Normal??? I think it's cute. Also every once in a while while sitting on her tush she will start to spin in a circle using her feet to spin....Does anyone else have kid that do this?

  • My son starting clapping around a year and a half, he also sometimes grabs my hands to clap too. My son doesn't sit and spin, but he loves spinning things and sometimes stands and spins.

  • yeah my son started clapping and spinning around when he was around 10 months. I'm pretty sure it's normal.

  • My daughter started to clap her hands about nine months and at ten months now, she grabs mune and makes me clap if I stop. She dosn't really "spin" but she does sit on the floor and turn in the opposite direction by scooting on her butt in a circle but thats as far as she goes. I am sure it's normal.

  • Yea my son started clapping close to 9 months. Its normal they do it when they get excited.

  • My last dd, sat on her bottom and used her feet to scoot herself along. She never crawled. We called it butt scooting!

  • My little one bangs her hands like drums to mimick me, just yesterday she took my cell phone and put it up to my husbands ear... so cool. Enjoy it all!!!
