  • Karo syrup. Just put a little in the bottle and that should get them going again. Dont put much, because this stuff really works. You may want to ask your pediatrician first before you do it.

  • Watered down prune juice. Hope your LO feels better, so not fun dealing with constipation. Also a warm bath will help them get poop out easier. Massage her belly too, clockwise.

  • Karo syrup is no longer recommended because of the botulism risk (same as honey), but you can try a little water, or watered down apple or prune juice.

  • My son had severe constipation when he was a newborn, doctor recomended glycerin supposetories...... not what anyone wants to do but it worked, almost instantly everytime

  • No syrup or honey before age 1! I agree with most of the other people that watered down prune juice usually works great.

  • Need to know baby's diet and symptoms before advising. Age too.

  • Breast milk

  • I agree with Krysta....what makes you think your baby is constipated?

And before giving a 3 month old ANYTHING besides breastmilk or formula, you need to talk to your doctor.
