What kind of relationship do you have with your mom?

Next to SO, she is my best friend. I can tell her anything and she never butts in or offers advise unless I ask for it. And when I ask for it, I better be prepared because she is brutally honest.

  • I wish we were closer, but it's gotten better. I had a talk with her about two years ago and told her that I felt like I was always the one reaching out. She never called, I would have to. Even when I would call her she seemed to tired or busy or whatever and that would hurt my feelings. It got better for a while, but went back to the old way. So I decided if I wanted our relationship to be a certain way that "I" would have to be the one to do it. But we got closer when I got pregnant with the twins cause that was the most trying time of my life!

  • I am sorry for those of you that do not have a good relationship with your mom.

I just know that your children are blessed to have you as their mom, to give them what you didn't get.

  • I don't. I cut her out of my life four years ago. I just couldn't take the crazy anymore.
