  • I believe it is 12-15 after the first day of your period

  • Women ovulate 12-16 days BEFORE the 1st day of their period. So if you have a regular cycle you can do the math and figure it out within a window of about a week. Other methods to predict ovulation are tracking your basal body temperature, tracking your vaginal secretions, or using over the counter ovulation predictor kits.

  • Did you mean Oct 5th? If so, depends on your own follicular and luteal phase. Your follicular phase (days before ovulation) can chenge depending on stress and other factors, but luteal (days after ovulation) will always be the same. If your cycles are the same every month, then you have a window of 12-18 days before period (AF) due to ovulate. This might not always be the case though...if you don't know how long your phases are, you can try to temp to find out, but that will show ovulation after it has happened (get a temp rise). If cycles are different lengths, you can go to whenmybaby.com and get a basic time frame of when to try (every day or other day) based on the different lengths of cycle. Good luck. If you do decide to temp, you can try fertilityfriend.com or fertilitycircle.com for free. You can also use the one on ivillage.com for free as well. :)
