if you exercise first thing in the morning.....

do you eat breakfast before or after? Do you have a time frame between exercising and eating?

  • yep at 5 am, I don't eat breakfast till much later when I am at work (about 10 ususally)

  • My trainer use to always get mad if I did not eat breakfast before. I would just have a banana or oatmeal.

  • When I run first thing in the morning it works best for me to do it IMMEDIATELY after getting up, otherwise I will get too hungry and have to eat first, and then I have to wait and digest a little before I can run. I do always eat RIGHT afterwards though - I'm starving! :o)
