  • Your pregnancy is calculated from your LMP. So when you are say 5 weeks pregnant, you have actually only been pregnant for about 3 weeks. Get it?

  • You use the first date of your last period.... So basically, they add on 2 weeks to the ACTUAL time of conception.

  • Anouck is only partially right. It is the date of your last period plus two weeks. That's around the time you would have ovulated. The date is only an estimate. That's why it's normal to give birth anytime between 38-42 weeks. There is no way of knowing the exact moment of conception but they can figure out roughly when it happened.
