  • At the very least, get together all your information about any shared property, debts, and children you have. These are the things you'll be sorting out with the mediator.

  • UpSheRises is exactly right. Make sure you have all of your information in order. If there are any issues you are going to dispute (or if you have to prove infidelity, abuse, or anything like that - but hopefully you don't have to) make sure you have valid proof like pictures, transcripts of phone, email or text conversations, doctors reports. Anything that might need to be proven. Good luck to you.
