Start with one room at a time. Clean out an empty room and then slowly put things away into that room. Then once that room is finished move on. I would start with the rooms you'll be using the most like the kitchen. Clean out all the cabnits, the appliances, and then put everything away where you want it to go. Then move on to the bathrooms or bedrooms.
Was there anything in the home when you moved in, or is this a blank slate? If the latter, what will work for YOU? That's the big thing. Real Simple magazine has done lots of issues on home organization; you have to decide what works for YOUR situation.
If there are "leftovers" then you'll need to sort through and decide what stays and what goes.

Get your bedrooms organized to the point you can move around and not feel cluttered in there, even if a few boxes get pushed to one side. Then do the kitchen where you need to "run" the house from. Then make the family room comfy for the time being and then go back to the bedrooms. GL
