  • I know my mom buys them all year long, whenever she sees them on a really good sale then she freezes them til it's time for dinner... She never buys them around this time of year, cause they are over priced.

  • We bought our turkey a month ago, and put it in the deep freezer.

  • When I see them on sale and then I freeze them

  • I don't have room in my freezer, so I have to wait until I'm ready to start thawing it in the fridge, OR, I order a fresh turkey from the meat market...but that is way more expensive. I *really* need to invest in an extra freezer for the garage.

  • When they are on sale ... I usually try and pick one up for Christmas while I'm at it. Of course, that's not always practical if you don't have a chest or upright freezer to put them in.

  • I'll buy them when they're insanely cheap if you spend $50+. I want to buy 2-3 this year to have them when we're in the mood, not just at the holidays.
