  • No. No. It's not. It's what the Buyer does before the closing to well, make sure that the house is still there, as agreed to buying. Meaning, to make sure that it is free from any defect that was not agreed to in the contract.

  • It is when you go through the home you are getting ready to buy to make sure everything looks ok to you.

  • When you are moving out of a rented home or appartment they do a "final walk through" to make sure that you got all of your trash out of the house. That is also when they will tell you how much you are going to pay for things that need fixed from you living in the house. Such as nail holes in the wall, cleaining the carpets and other little things. If you are buying a brand new home that was just built then a final walk through is where you point out things that are not finished to your standards such as there are basebords missing things like that. Hope this helped.

  • The buyer walks through the house looking for problems. If you requested that something be fixed based on the inspector's report that is the time to make sure it got fixed. In our final walk through the previous owners gave us the manuals to the hot water heater and explained how the timer on it worked. They also gave us the manuals (acutally showed us were they would be leaving them) for the dishwasher, oven, washer and dryer. It is your chance to look for water spots on the ceiling that might have been covered by new paint during the showing a couple of months ago. That kind of thing. Make sure nobody put any new wholes in the wall or spilled grape juice on the rug.

  • When you move out of military housing it means having the home inspected for cleanliness. Better be clean!
