  • Im in the boat of if a baby is sleeping, let it sleep. When they are hungry, they will wake up :)

  • I have to say, for you sake and the baby's sake....let him or her sleep. Trust me the baby will wake up to feed. Depends on the age of baby, but look to make sure baby is breathing, baby does need to feed aleast in five hrs. if her or he is a newbie.

  • I did on demand feedings...but if they slept WHILE nursing - just a stroke of the cheek was all that was needed.

  • Stroke their faces, change their diaper, take off their clothes, wipe their face with a wet washcloth. I always woke my kids every 3 hours during the day to eat, then let them sleep at night. I firmly believe it helped them sleep through the night at an early age.

  • Never wake a sleeping baby!

  • Unswaddle, diaper change, cool washcloth on the face, some babies (like my dd) all it takes is putting her to breast, she will latch when she feels the nipple on her lip.

  • You don't need to. But the easiest thing I learned was putting the baby down. She missed the warmth and comfort of mommy and started squirming.
