water costs ..

i posted a question about costs and the economy

one thing that was mentioned was water costs ..

here in the uk we get billed on average £250 per house per year,regardless of how much water we use that includes waste water been taken away

hows it work in the us?

  • In the U.S. you get billed monthly based on how much water you use. Sometimes if you are renting though the landlord will give you free water. That is, the landlord wont charge you for water. Water charges vary greatly in the U.S. It just depends on the area you live in and how much water you use. Our family uses $35 a month. It includes sewage.

  • We(Fl) get billed monthlybased on usage. It is usually $25 a month or so.

  • Here in the USA , in Oklahoma. Our bill includes water, sewage, and garbage all in one bill. It is a monthly bill.

  • We are billed based on usage. Be sure you do not have any leaks in your sinks or toilets. This can really cost you.
