What is a good thing for a novice gardner to plant?

Southwest area lol don't say cactus :-) Also what season to plant whatever you say.

  • No idea in the southwest. I was going to say collards but I am on the East. Good luck.

  • I'm in the east coast but I have a brown thumb as my hubby says lol. I have success with tomatoes, zucchini, and hot peppers. They pretty much grow themselves. Good luck with whatever you choose.
