How do you get them clean?

My son has a bunch of sippy cups with the flow stopper in them. Well I found a cup in my car the other day and he had milk still in it and its all in the stopper part. How do you get them clean?

  • Personally I never tried to clean the stoppers when they sat like that for too long. I just bought replacement valves and tossed the disgusting one out.

  • I found mine at Babies R Us for most brands and I made it a point to only buy one brand that I knew they carried. You can also often find them online and NIB on ebay.

  • If you don't have a dishwasher, wash them then soak them in a bowl of water & a little bleach over night then clean with hot water & dish soap.

  • I would use the bleach water and then run them in the dishwasher. Also, couldn't you boil them like you do bottles?
