  • It is "normal" for a baby to start walking anywhere from 10 months to 18 months. Some fall a little ahead of that, some fall a little behind. It is in no way a reflection of your parenting or their awesomeness whenever they begin walking. Enjoy him being immobile a little while longer!

  • Babies are so different from one another. For instance, my first daughter was walking at 11 months, second daughter, 15 months. Some start walking early, 8-9 months, other's start later, 12+ months. I have friends who's children didn't start walking till like 17 months! Don't feel something's wrong if he's not walking when you see other children his age walking, everyone is different =)

  • Yes that is normal, sometimes kids don't start to walk until around 11 or 12 months, I wouldn't worry about it I think he is doing pretty good so far.

  • He's fine, mama. 9 months is on the early side of normal.

  • Completely normal. My 3 girls all walked at different ages... 10 months, 11 months and 13 months.

  • 9 months old is when my youngest started crawling... he started walking just after his first birthday. DONT rush it.. Once they start crawling they quickly learn to pull up on things and then getting into all kinds of trouble LOL. They are quick to show where you missed in the child proofing.

  • He's 9 months old, he may not walk until he is 18 months old and that is ok. Most kids walk around their first birthday.
