  • Mine ate a lot! When I was b/f, it felt like an ALL DAY thing - not easy with 3 others that need to be driven places lol! The right amount though is 2.5 ounces per pound of weight every 24 hours. 10 pound babies get 25 ounces a day.

  • My son was eating 4, 6 oz bottles during the day and a 4 oz bottle and 2 oz of cereal at night.

I am not sure if I agree with the PP if that was the case my 4 months old son weight 17 lbs and is supposed to eat 42 oz a day. IMPOSSIBLE!

  • my son eats a 6-7 oz bottle every 4-5 hrs during the day and one last bottle at 9 hes in bed by 10 and doesnt wake up till about 6 when his daddy goes to work has a 3oz bottle then back to bed until 9 so i guess that would be 27-31 oz a day

  • My daughter doesn't seem to handle a lot at once very well so she is getting 5 ounces every 4 hours. I wish that she would eat more during the day and sleep more at night, but she just isn't ready for that yet.

  • Well my baby is 3 months now, but eats the same as when he was 2. Mine takes 4 oz when he gets a bottle about every 3 hours.
