Are bubble baths bad for young kids?

  • johnson &johnson has a bedtime bubble bath ,wash combo for babies havent had a problem... but when i waslittle mr bubble irritated me!

  • they can cause irritation ... however if you are using baby shampoo as bubble bath, that would probably be OK.

  • Mr Bubble sells a sensitive formula. My son has them frequently and we have never had a problem. I think some kids (just like some adults) are just more prone to UTi's and those are the ones who should stay away from bubble baths. I figured we would give him bubbles unless and until there was a reason not to.

  • i need to rephrase my answer....they cause my girls uti's. we ended the bubble baths a long time ago. guess you'll have to try and see for yourself...the mommie always knows best

  • My granddaughter loves bubble bath's ..I use Johnson's tear free baby shampoo for bubble bath..works great !

  • We haven't had a problem. we mainly do showers but a couple times a month she wants a bubble bath.

  • We rarely do bubble baths. I'll get natural bubble bath stuff to put in Easter baskets and to use as stocking stuffers, but they are not an every day thing. They can be too harsh for kids. I couldn't have bubble baths when I was a little because they caused rashes.
