  • 1 cup warm water
    2 Tbsp butter
    3 Tbsp honey
    2/3 cup whole wheat flour
    2 cups white bread flour
    2 Tbsp wheat germ
    1 tsp salt
2 tsp (or 1 package) active dry yeast

Put in machine in the order recommended by your machine (most want liquids first but some want the flours first) instruction manual. Set for 1.5 lb wheat loaf and start.

This is my family's favorite bread.

OP - Congrats on your homemade bread!!! I have to make 3-4 loaves a week to keep my brood happy. LOL
