Do you let your kids eat pop tarts or do you consider them to be candy/junk food and limit them?

  • If I buy poptarts it is the fruity flavors only and it is a snack.junk food type of thing and is not a breakfast around here...i can't stand the idea of chocolate poptarts

  • I think they are junk and we very rarely buy things like that because they have very little to no nutritional value. Besides, the last thing I need is a 4 year old hyped on sugar.

  • DH loves them I can not stand them and DD has yet to try them. If she does ending up liking them, they will be regulated just like the cookies are.

  • i try very hard (mostly for my sake, im trying to lose weight) to keep any type of junk out of the house. my son loves fruits and veggies and doesn't eat a lot of sweets. im grateful he got that from his father.

  • I buy them every once in awhile, the kids love them. But it is not an always around breakfast item
